  • 4 ounces Cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil plus more for drizzling
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon Lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon Honey for drizzling
  • 0.25 teaspoon Red pepper flakes optional

Preparation Steps
  1. In a food processor, combine the crumbled feta cheese, softened cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, minced garlic, and lemon zest.
  2. Process until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. If the mixture is too thick, add another tablespoon of olive oil.
  3. Transfer the whipped feta to a serving bowl. Drizzle with extra olive oil and honey. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes, if desired.
  4. Serve immediately with pita bread, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

This dip can be made a day in advance and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving for the best texture.
