  • 1 pound smoked sausage kielbasa, sliced
  • 0.5 medium cabbage shredded
  • 1 pound potatoes quartered and thinly sliced
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation Steps
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned on all sides. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add the sliced potatoes and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are tender and lightly browned, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Add the shredded cabbage to the skillet and cook until wilted and tender, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in the cooked sausage.
  4. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Serve hot.

Notes

This recipe is easily adaptable. Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots.
