Smoothie Bowl Ingredients
  • 0.25 cup almond milk or oat milk or milk of your choice
  • 0.66 cup frozen blueberries ensure blueberries are frozen solid
  • 0.66 cup sliced strawberries frozen
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
Optional Toppings
  • 1 tbsp melted peanut butter for drizzling
  • unit fresh blueberries
  • unit chia seeds

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Place your milk of choice into the blender.
  2. Add the frozen fruit (blueberries and strawberries), protein powder, and 1 tablespoon of peanut butter to the blender. Seal the lid and blend until completely smooth. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides or add a tiny bit more milk if it's too thick.
  3. Pour the smoothie mixture out into a bowl.
  4. If using optional melted peanut butter for drizzling, melt 1 tablespoon of peanut butter in the microwave for 30 to 45 seconds until runny, then drizzle it over the bowl.
  5. Add any desired toppings such as fresh blueberries or chia seeds. Eat right away with a spoon!

Notes

For an even creamier consistency, ensure all your fruit is fully frozen. If you prefer a thinner smoothie bowl, add a little extra milk until it reaches your desired texture. This recipe doubles easily!
