Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.5 cup melted butter
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (15 ounces)
  • 0.5 cup peanut butter chips
  • 0.5 cup milk chocolate chips (or semi-sweet)
  • 0.5 cup white chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup coconut flakes or sweetened shredded coconut (you can use up to 1.5 cups)

Method

Preparation Steps
  1. Heat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt butter in the microwave or a small saucepan over low heat. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan, then pour butter evenly over the crumbs. Flatten out crumbs with a fork and make sure butter is evenly incorporated.
  3. Evenly pour two cups of morsels (peanut butter, milk chocolate, white chocolate, and butterscotch chips) over the graham cracker crust.
  4. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the chips.
  5. Cover the top with coconut flakes (or shredded coconut).
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until edges are golden brown and the center does not jiggle. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

These bars are based off a recipe from my Mother-in-Law’s church cookbook and have been known as Magic Cookie Bars for many years!
