  • 1.5 cups whole milk
  • 0.75 cups sugar
  • 0.125 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

Preparation Steps
  1. Pour 1 cup of heavy cream into a saucepan, add sugar, salt, and vanilla seeds if using a vanilla bean. Heat over medium until sugar dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat, stir in the remaining cream, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  3. Pour chilled mixture into the freezer-safe container. Freeze for about 3-4 hours, stirring every 30 minutes until it reaches desired consistency.
  4. Serve immediately or transfer to an airtight container and store in the freezer until ready to serve.
