Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup buttermilk or regular milk
  • 0.75 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried chives
  • 0.25 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon finely cracked pepper
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice approximately 1-3 teaspoons, adjust to taste

Method

Preparation Steps
  1. Whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, and milk in a medium bowl until smooth and well combined.
  2. Add the dried dill weed, parsley, chives, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the mixture. Whisk again until all spices are evenly incorporated.
  3. Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice to taste. Whisk once more.
  4. Pour the homemade ranch dressing into a jar or airtight container and chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve. This dressing will keep nicely in the refrigerator for up to one week. Enjoy!

Notes

For best flavor, allow the dressing to chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld. Adjust seasoning to your preference.
