Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 0.5 cup Olive Oil
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 12 cloves Garlic thinly sliced
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • 0.25 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 0.25 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt or to taste

Method

Preparation Steps
  1. Combine the olive oil and vegetable oil in a small saucepan.
  2. Add the sliced garlic to the oil. Heat over low heat until the garlic is golden brown and fragrant, about 8-10 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the red pepper flakes, dried oregano, dried thyme, and salt.
  4. Let the oil cool for a few minutes. Strain the oil into a clean jar or bottle, discarding the garlic solids or keeping them if desired.
  5. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. Enjoy!
