Preparation Steps
- Note: This dough requires chilling. You can use a mixer or stir by hand. Chill the dough for at least 2 hours before baking.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
- Cream melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until smooth.
- Add egg and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Mix in baking soda and salt. Gradually add flour, mixing until combined. Fold in M&Ms candies.
- Scoop 2 tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets. Chill for at least 2 hours.
- Bake for 11-15 minutes or until edges are golden. Cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
