  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups Nestle Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together butter, sugars and vanilla until well combined. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
  3. Add half the flour along with baking soda and salt. Mix by hand to combine, then add remaining flour and chocolate chips.
  4. Cover and chill the dough for at least one hour (not more than 24 hours).
  5. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches of space. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Cool on wire racks.
