  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 0.5 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Place the beans in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and simmer until tender, about 1 hour.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and minced garlic, cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add tomato sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Drain the cooked beans and transfer them to a baking dish. Pour the sauce over the beans and mix well.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, until bubbling and slightly caramelized on top.
  7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
